Mr Sydney Linden Petzer

Mr Petzer holds National Higher Diploma Management Practice, National Higher Diploma Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Radio Communications & Antenna Certifications. acted as the Lead Expert on satellite communications within a team developing the Masterplan for Aerospace and Defence.

He was an Advisor to the Global Satellite Coalition (GSC) for Europe, Middle East, and Africa Satellite Operators Association (ESOA) – 2019. Mr Petzer served as a Chief Director: Radio and Satellite Communication Department of Telecommunications; as well as in diplomatic and technical matters as a South African lead to all ITU World Radio and was a member of the Council. Mr Petzer serves on the Board of South African National Space Agency.
