Mr Makoloi holds a BSC Degree, Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering and Master of Engineering Science.

He is currently an employee of the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI) Chief Director of Space Science and Technology. Has experience as a Director of Space Systems and provides oversight to the South African National Space Agency (SANSA) Mr Makoloi represents the DSTI in the Council.
