Dr Nonyana-Mokabane (Vice-Chairperson) holds B Proc, LLB, LLM, and LLD. She currently serves as a Legal Advisor within Special Projects at the Black Economic Empowerment Commission of the dtic.

She acted as DDG; Spatial Industrial Development and Economic Transformation for 8 months in 2023 and has vast experience in legislative drafting in her portfolio as Chief Director at the Regulations Branch for 9 years. She also has experience in Human Rights institutions. Dr Nonyana-Mokabane represents the dtic in the Council
